room service scam

In summary the suspect will call a hotel switchboard and state they  are calling from head office as part of a quality call back scheme.

They will ask to get put through to a room that has received room  service. Once through they tell the guests that they are from room  service and their recent order failed to be processed for payment. In  order to process the order they will require the credit card details again. The suspect will then record all the credit card details and  use these fraudulently for financial gain.
